Care
We use natural Italian leather and high-quality Italian and Spanish fabrics. Any product requires care.
Leather can be scratched, so we recommend avoiding contact with abrasive surfaces.
Avoid direct exposure to water or direct sunlight. Avoid contact with perfumes, creams, hand sanitizers, and other chemicals that may cause stains or any marks on leather or fabric products.
We do not recommend using the bag in rainy weather. Rainwater has high permeability.
For lighter shades of leather and fabric, we recommend avoiding contact with dark denim or other dyeing fabrics, as the light material of the bag may be subject to color transfer or stains.
SMOOTH LEATHER AND EMBOSSED LEATHER
For smooth leather, you can use special creams (colorless or tinted). The most versatile product for leather care of any color is colorless shoe polish. Wax, like creams, is applied with a special soft shoe brush to a product previously cleaned of dirt and dust. If you want to add shine to your handbag, rub it with a flannel or fur cloth after applying the wax.
GLOSSY AND MATTE LEATHER
Glossy and matte leather is more demanding in care. Glossy leather is prone to scratches, while matte leather, on the contrary, "polishes" during use. If you want your products made of matte or glossy leather to retain their original appearance for as long as possible, we recommend being careful with them. Wax is not suitable for caring for these types of leather.
Dirt on glossy, matte, smooth, or embossed leather should first be wiped off with a napkin, and then special restorative agents should be used. Matte ("rubber") leather can also be wiped with a damp, alcohol-free wipe and allowed to dry or carefully wiped with a soft, light, natural cloth (microfiber). Never use soap or solvent.
Coated leather
Coated leather is natural leather with a protective finish layer or special surface treatment that increases its resistance to daily use.
Saffiano, Crumb, and similar types have a pronounced texture that helps maintain the neat appearance of the product.
Flatter leather (soft smooth leather) has a more delicate surface and natural elasticity, creating a soft feel and developing an individual character over time.
Care
- Clean the surface with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth
- If necessary, a weak soap solution may be used
- After cleaning, always wipe the product dry
- Store in a dry place, in a protective pouch
Important
- Avoid prolonged contact with water, oil, cosmetics, and perfumes
- Do not use alcohol-based or aggressive chemical agents
- Avoid strong friction and contact with abrasive surfaces
- Flatter leather may softly change shape and acquire natural signs of use over time – this is a characteristic feature of the material
Small differences in texture, shade, and surface are natural for genuine leather and are not considered a defect.

Embossed leather
Croco and Iguana embossed leather is a sophisticated combination of distinctive textured relief and practicality. The specially structured surface of the material helps the product flawlessly maintain its architectural form and neat appearance in daily use.
Care
- For cleaning, use only a soft dry or slightly damp cloth, then be sure to wipe the surface dry.
- Do not use alcohol, harsh or abrasive cleaners.
- Store the product in its branded protective pouch (dust bag) in a dry and cool place.
Important
- Avoid prolonged contact with water, oils, cosmetics, and perfumes.
- Prevent excessive friction and interaction with abrasive surfaces to maintain the integrity of the embossing.
- Do not overload the product and avoid prolonged pressure on embossed elements during storage to prevent deformation of the texture.
The depth of the shade and the unique embossed pattern may vary slightly in each product, emphasizing its authenticity. Due to the peculiarities of the finishing treatment of natural leather, under certain conditions (increased humidity or friction), slight pigment migration to light-colored clothing layers is possible. Natural changes in shine and texture in areas of active use are a characteristic of natural materials and are not a manufacturing defect.
SUEDE LEATHER
Suede leather has natural textural characteristics that make each handbag unique, and also provides a refined look and feel.
Suede accessories require special care to maintain their beauty and quality for a long time. Here are some tips for caring for your suede handbag:
• Avoid moisture: Suede leather is very sensitive to moisture, so avoid contact with water or rain. If the handbag gets wet, leave it to air dry, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, and allow it to dry completely. Do not use a dryer or other heat sources, as this can damage the suede.
• Use a suede brush: Periodically use a soft suede brush to remove dust and dirt. Gentle circular motions will help preserve the texture and appearance of your handbag.
• Apply a protective agent: Applying a special protective agent for suede will help protect your handbag from moisture and dirt. Make sure the product is suitable for suede leather before using it.
• Store properly: Store your suede handbag in a dry and well-ventilated place, away from heat and moisture sources. Avoid storing the handbag in plastic or synthetic bags, as this can cause stains or softening of the leather. Use the dust bag that comes with the handbag for storage.
• Avoid exposure to direct light, heat, and humidity. It is also recommended to avoid contact with creams, oils, and perfumes.
• For light leather tones, we recommend avoiding contact with fabrics that may transfer color or stain.
• Do not allow the suede handbag to come into contact with sharp or rough objects to avoid scratches and damage.
By following these tips for caring for your suede handbag, you will preserve its appearance and quality for a long time.
If rain stains remain on your suede handbag, try to remove them using the following steps:
1. Dry: Wipe the handbag with a soft cloth or tissue to remove excess moisture. Then leave it in the air to dry completely. Avoid drying in direct sunlight or using a dryer.
2. Clean stains: After the handbag is completely dry, use a soft suede brush to remove any dirt or dust residue. Gently wipe the soiled area without applying excessive force.
3. If stains remain, try using special suede leather cleaning products. It is necessary to follow the manufacturer's instructions and first test the product on an invisible part of the handbag to make sure it will not damage the leather.
If stains remain after attempting to remove them yourself, it is recommended to contact a professional dry cleaner or suede leather care specialists.
By following these steps, you will be able to restore your suede handbag after it has been exposed to rain and keep it in good condition for a long time.

FABRIC PRODUCTS
Canvas
A combination of dense cotton canvas and genuine leather. To ensure the bag holds its shape perfectly, the textile is adapted using a special internal lamination technology. This product requires careful and proper care.
- Gentle Cleaning (No Washing): To clean the canvas of dust and dry dirt, use a soft brush or a sticky lint roller. In case of stains, clean them locally only — with a damp natural cloth or sponge and a mild soapy solution. Do not machine wash the product or fully immerse it in water: this can damage the internal laminating layer and deform the bag's shape. If complex stains occur, only contact specialized delicate dry cleaning services for premium accessories.
- Caring for Leather Details: Clean leather elements with a dry or slightly damp, alcohol-free cloth. Avoid using a large amount of water on the leather, and to maintain its softness and shine, periodically apply a delicate colorless wax or cream.
- Caring for Light Shades: Light canvas tones are sensitive to foreign pigments. Try to minimize contact between the bag and dark denim and items that may bleed to prevent unwanted marks.
- Protection from Weather and Chemicals: Protect the product from direct contact with water and heavy rain. If the bag gets wet, blot it with a dry cloth and leave it to dry at room temperature (away from radiators and heaters). Also, avoid getting perfumes, creams, antiseptics, and other chemicals on the fabric and leather.
- Proper Storage: When the accessory is not in use, store it in a textile dust bag in a dry place, protected from dust and direct sunlight. Stuff the bag inside with soft paper to help it maintain its original silhouette.
Proper and diligent care for Kate Kore products will allow you to fully enjoy their beauty and impeccable quality for many years.
Raffia and straw
Handcrafted items made from natural raffia, reeds, and straw are created using delicate natural materials combined with exceptional Italian leather. Natural imperfections, slight variations in shades and shapes are the result of manual work – they make every Kate Kore product absolutely unique.
Care Recommendations
- Gentle handling: To preserve the original appearance of the product, protect it from excessive and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, moisture, and high temperatures. Minimize contact of the woven texture with rough or abrasive surfaces to prevent delicate natural fibers from tearing or snagging.
- Care for light shades: Light tones of straw, raffia, and leather are sensitive to foreign pigments. Try to avoid close contact with dark denim or clothing that may bleed to prevent unwanted stains.
- Cleaning (chemical-free): To remove dust and light dirt, gently wipe the product with a soft, light natural fiber cloth or use a dry, soft brush. Under no circumstances use soap, solvents, or aggressive chemical agents. Washing and dry cleaning are completely excluded for these materials.
- Protection from cosmetics: Try to protect the external elements and internal lining of the bag from perfumes, creams, tanning oils, and antiseptics.
- Proper storage: When the accessory is not in use, store it in a dry, dust-free place – in its original textile dust bag. Fill the bag with soft paper inside to help it maintain its architectural shape.
Proper and careful care of Kate Kore accessories will allow you to fully enjoy their authentic beauty and impeccable quality for many years.
